On November 1st, Lil Uzi Vert released the long-awaited Eternal Atake 2. I was very excited to see teasers shared on social media for the potential sequel to his popular 2020 album.
Eternal Atake is still one of my favorite albums, including songs like “Homecoming”, “Prices”, “Silly Watch”, and “Lo Mein”. In March 2020, Lil Uzi Vert excited fans with the drop of the deluxe edition of Eternal Atake, which includes iconic songs like “Bean (Kobe)”, “Yessirskiii”, “P2”, and “That Way”. Despite my love and excitement for a sequel to his widely loved album, I found Eternal Atake 2 extremely disappointing. I found most of the tracks to be horrible or mediocre at best.

Track List
I do not know how to describe the tracklist in the nicest way possible, but it's extremely underwhelming. While there are some tracks I would tolerate listening to, I still would not say that any of these songs are great. While some songs have decent instrumentals behind them, most are ruined by the fast rambling of words, offbeat lyrics, and constant word repetition. While I am not a fan of most of these songs, here are some songs that I did not dislike listening to:
“Lights Year (Practice)”
This is the only song on the whole album that I somewhat enjoy. The rhythm is catchy, and Lil Uzi's lyrics flow well with the beat. Is it a song I enjoy? Yes. Would I listen to this song daily? Probably not. Overall, it is a decent song, but not anything special.
“Mr Chow”
This song is not great; however, I can tolerate listening to it, which tells much about the whole album. The chorus is a bit catchy, but as a whole, the song is pretty mediocre.
Final Verdict
My final verdict score for Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake 2 is a 3/10. If I were to describe this album in one word, it would be disappointing. It sounds like complete garbage compared to Pink Tape and Eternal Atake. This is not an album I recommend when discussing some of Lil Uzi’s best work in recent years. While I tend to give albums a couple more listens before deciding on their quality, this is one album I probably will not revisit.
