COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMEDAY PICKS: WEEK 4

Obvious Wins 

Ohio State vs Marshall 

Prediction: Ohio State destroyed Marshall 

Reason: I do not see Marshall doing anything special against a dominating team like Ohio State. Ohio State is gonna dominate. 

Ole Miss vs GA Southern 

Prediction: Ole Miss dominates 

Reason: This pick was very easy to make. Jackson Dart is balling out, and GA Southern is a mediocre team.

Texas vs LA-Monroe 

Prediction: Texas lights up the scoreboard 

Reason: I heard Arch Manning would be starting today, and I could not be even more happier. I love Quinn Ewer, but I love seeing Manning ball out. I expect Manning and the Longhorns to light up the scoreboard against LA-Monroe.

Competitive Matchups 

Clemson vs NC State 

Prediction: Clemson beats NC State in the Textile Bowl 

Reason: This game might be one of the top 3 games this week. Nothing is better than watching a rivalry with teams from a powerhouse conference. This will be a very entertaining game, with teams going back and forth with touchdowns. I have Clemson beating NC State in a high-scoring game. 

Georgia Tech vs Louisville 

Prediction: Louisville wins 

Reason: While I do not think these teams are anything special, this will be a very entertaining game. Louisville is a team that can either ball out against good teams or be sub-par. This game could be a very competitive matchup after seeing how Georgia Tech has been performing. I have Louisville winning in a very close game. 

USC vs Michigan 

Prediction: USC crushes Michigan's dreams of hope 

Reason: While Michigan did beat AR State, I am not sure they can go toe-to-toe with good top-25 teams. After seeing what Texas did to them at the Big House, I fear what USC could do to them after seeing how the Trojans have been performing. I do not expect a blowout by USC, but I believe they’ll probably win by two touchdowns.

Potential Upsets 

#14 Oklahoma State vs #12 Utah 

Prediction: Oklahoma State upsets Utah in a classic college football shootout 

Reason: Looking at both Utah and Oklahoma State’s last three games, the Cowboys have at least 30 points each game, while Utah has only put up 23 points against a sub-par team like Baylor. If Oklahoma State can generate the same points as their last three games, the Cowboys could upset Utah. 

Tennessee vs Oklahoma 

Prediction: Sooners upset Tennessee at home 

Reason: This pick was honestly the hardest choice for me. Both teams have been balling out but I have a feeling that Oklahoma would come out with the win. I honestly think this is the number one game of the week.
